Hi, my name's Katherine.

I've been into photography for a few years now. Originally I worked with normal digital cameras (initially a Pentax Optio M40 followed by the Pentax Optio M90). In November 2010 I got my first DLSR, a Canon 500D, and it is the camera I still use today.

I currently own the following lenses:
Canon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6
Canon 55-250mm f4-5.6
Canon 50mm f1.8

Throughout 2011 I took part in a 365Project which can be seen here however, unfortunately with all the organising I needed to do for starting university and other things, I stopped updating it it August. I did complete the project and at some point I'll find the time to edit and upload the missing photos...

On my twentieth birthday I decided to take on a new 365Project to document my twenty-first year, although that also ended prematurely.

I still wanted to have a project to work on so I decided to start 100 Days Of Summer. The summertime is when I feel the most inspired, and 100 days is a lot less pressure than 365!
